He has performed nearly 15000 Cardiovascular Interventional Surgeries in his career.
He is expert in carrying out Coronary Interventions, using Trans-Radial Approach, which is more secure and patient friendly.
He offers treatments such as Chronic Total Occlusion, Bifurcation Lesions, Left Main Stenosis, Peripheral Interventions, Mitral, Aortic, Pulmonary Valves, and Catheter Interventions for Adult Congenital Heart Diseases.
He is credited for setting up “Hriday Suraksha Abhiyan” an innovative project in Central Coal Fields for helping the victims of heart attacks with immediate treatment in the hospital of CCL.
The Heart App, a Free App, to detect symptoms of Heart Attack and Angina that can be used by the masses, is his brainchild.
The doctor also offers free Video Consultations to the soldiers of the Border Security Force, which is highly appreciated by the soldiers and their families.
He first introduced the treatment of heart ailment through Coronary Intervention using Trans –Radial Approach in Chhattisgarh State and is credited with doing first Coronary Angioplasty there.
He took initiative of setting up the Department of Cardiology in Apollo Hospital, Bilaspur and Medical College, Raipur.
He also chairs the post of Honorary Professor at Pt. J. N. Medical College Raipur.
For his outstanding contribution and dedicated services in the arena of cardiology he has been awarded by the Government of Chattisgarh and Central Coal Fields.
His case presentation was adjudged one of the best papers in TCT held at Washington, USA in 2008.
He regularly participates in Workshops and Conferences and has presented few challenging cases in International Cardiology Conferences held in USA, Singapore Europe (TCT, ACC. Euro PCR)
He has the membership of several prestigious associations like: Cardiology Society of India, European Society of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (USA).
He is deeply involved in research work and has so far published 18 Papers in National and International Journals.
He is also associated with multiple research projects as the Chief Invigilator and Co-Invigilator.
