Dr Atul Peters is a bariatric surgeon whose primary specialty is dealing with patients with excessive weight issues.
He has over 26+ years of experience under his belt and performs over 300 cases per annum.
Dr Peters holds the world record for maximum number of surgeries performed in one day at eighteen.
He has been acclaimed “Surgeon Of Excellence” by Surgical Review Corporation, USA. This organisation administers Surgeon of Excellence Programs through-out the world and recognizes surgeons and healthcare facilities that provide safe, high quality surgical care.
Dr. Peters is also a “Certified Fitness Trainer” from International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). He runs a regular bariatric support group for his patients and ends it with music therapy.
He is the founder member of ACMOMS (Asian Consensus Meeting on Metabolic Surgery).
