Dr. Shiv Kumar is one of the greatest Cardiologists in Hyderabad, with over 23+ years of expertise.
He has extensive expertise with cardioverter defibrillator implants, permanent pacemakers, TAVR, balloon mitral valvotomy, primary angioplasty, TAVI/PBMV & structural treatments, PDA device closures, and endovascular stent grafting during his career.
Dr. Kumar J also treats arrhythmia, provides cardiac resynchronization therapy/heart failure therapies, and provides a few cardiac diagnostic procedures such as angiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Dr. Kumar J earned his MBBS from the Government Medical College in 1986, followed by his MD and DM from the Institute of Cardiology in 1990.
He has extensive experience effectively performing numerous Cardiac surgeries.
He is a member of the Abbott, Asia Pacific Advisory Board for Medtronics, and Boston Scientific.
He is also a faculty member and founding member of the PPHC project, the Emergency Medicine and Cardiology (Govt. of India) faculty, and the National Education for Rural Health Doctors faculty.
He has performed over 20,000 angiograms, 6,000 angioplasties, and 1,000 permanent pacemaker implantations of various types.
He has co-written a few publications for prestigious journals.
