Dr. S Radhakrishnan is a highly experienced and reputed Pediatric Cardiologist with 43+ years of experience in performing several cardiac procedures in children.
Dr. Radhakrishnan is a professional member of the Delhi Medical Council.
He is credited with reporting a pioneering technique for the first time in the world of medicine such as, Balloon Dilatation Of The Atrial Septum In Transposition Of Great Vessels and Coil Closure of PDA in India.
He has performed more than 5000 cases including transesophageal and intraoperative echocardiography.
He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1980. He then did his MD from Delhi University in 1984, followed by DM (Cardiology) from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1987.
He has obtained advanced training as Registrar from the Guys Hospital, London, UK in 1993-94. He was a Visiting Fellow at Mayo Clinic in Minessota, for 3 weeks in 1990.
