A 62-year-old Mr Abdul Azizi Mohaman Ballo  presented with urinary difficulties that had persisted for approximately five to six months, including a weak urinary stream, frequent urination, difficulty passing urine, and incomplete bladder emptying. Following a detailed urological evaluation, the patient was diagnosed with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and Urethral Stricture.

On 8 October 2026, Dr. Vikram Sharma at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, was associated with the patient’s treatment, which included cystoscopy, Laser Optical Internal Urethrotomy (OIU), and Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).
