About Dr. Ankur Atal Gupta

Dr. Ankur A. Gupta is a Senior Consultant Surgeon at the Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine, Medanta Gurugram.
He completed his surgical training from SMS Medical College, building a strong foundation in advanced surgery.
After his training, he worked and gained experience at reputed medical centers in both India and abroad.
Dr. Gupta completed an ASTS fellowship in Abdominal Organ Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University Health Sciences.
He also pursued a fellowship in Liver Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery from Medanta.
He is an important member of Medanta’s internationally recognized liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgical team, known for handling complex cases.
Along with clinical work, he has served as teaching faculty in General Surgery and Liver Transplant Surgery for FNB training programs.
