Dr. Anurag Krishna

Dr. Anurag Krishna is the Chairman – Paediatrics & Paediatric Surgery at Max Healthcare and leads Pediatric Services across all Max Hospitals. With 40+ years of experience, he is one of India’s most respected paediatric surgeons, specializing in advanced surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents.

An alumnus of AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Krishna completed his MBBS, MS (General Surgery), and M.Ch in Paediatric Surgery. He further enhanced his expertise through the British Government Technical Cooperation Training Programme Fellowship at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, UK. Before joining Max Healthcare, he served as Chairman of the Department of Paediatric Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and was a faculty member at the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi.

Dr. Krishna has played a pivotal role in strengthening pediatric care at Max Healthcare and was the first Clinical Director when the Clinical Directorate was established in 2012. His areas of expertise include paediatric laparoscopy, paediatric urology, surgery for newborns, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), hypospadias repair, bronchoscopy, and cystourethroscopy.
