His areas of interest include Minimally invasive thoracic surgery, Complex thoracic resections for advanced malignancies, Clinical research on thoracic malignancies, etc.
After completing his MCh (Surgical Oncology) from Tata Memorial Hospital in 2006, he also achieved MS (General Surgery) from Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital in 2002.
He is an esteemed member of the European Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Indian Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, and the Indian Society of Esophageal and Stomach Surgery.
