Dr. Mazhar Husain is the Chairman & Chief Neurosurgeon at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow. With 52+ years of experience, he is one of India’s most distinguished neurosurgeons, renowned for his expertise in brain, spine, and neuro-oncology surgeries.

A graduate of King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, Dr. Husain earned his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and MCh in Neurosurgery from the institution. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held several prestigious leadership positions, including Professor & Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at KGMU, Chief of Neurosurgery at Sahara Hospital, and Director of Sahara Hospital, Lucknow.

Dr. Husain specializes in endoscopic neurosurgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, brain tumor surgery, spinal disorders, and neuro-oncology.
