After finishing his M.D., he moved to the United Kingdom and spent eight years working in some of the country’s most famous teaching hospitals (King’s College Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Alder Hay Hospital, and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital).
He worked with patients who had complex hepatic and gastro-intestinal disorders throughout this time. He has a lot of expertise dealing with kids who have food allergies, acid issues, constipation, and IBD.
He spent four years working in liver transplant units, where he oversaw over 300 liver transplant patients.
For his studies, Dr. Prashant Bachina received the “Rising Star Award” in “Pediatric Hepatology” in 2010.
