About Dr. Rajiv Parakh

Dr. Rajiv Parakh is among the most well-known Vascular Specialists in India, with 42+ years of experience in endovascular interventions.
He is one of the best doctors for arterial bypass, carotid artery stenting, as well as varicose veins laser treatment.
His expertise also includes embolisation of vascular deformity, peripheral and endovascular interventions.
Dr. Parakh started the first government-recognised teaching program in vascular surgery in India.
He completed his MBBS in 1981 and MS (Surgery) in 1986 from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.
Later, he pursued a fellowship in 1987 from the Royal College of Surgeons, UK.
In recognition of his excellence as a top Vascular Surgeon in India, he received Prof. Hari Vaishnava Oration in 2008 from Delhi Medical Association and Sushil Malik Oration Award in 2009 from Indian Medical Association.
He is a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery, and the founding member of Vascular Society of India and Endovascular Intervention Society of India.
Dr. Parakh was formerly elected as the Vice President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, USA, in 2010.
