Dr. Simon Thomas is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon and Robotic Joint Replacement Specialist with over 25 years of expertise in joint reconstruction and advanced orthopaedic surgery.
He currently serves as Senior Director – Robotic Joint Replacements & Orthopaedics at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi.
He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, and DNB in Orthopaedics from St. Stephen’s Hospital, New Delhi.
He has received advanced international fellowships in Revision Arthroplasty at Endo Klinik, Hamburg, Germany, and Pelvic & Acetabular Surgery through the AO Trauma Fellowship in Germany.
His expertise includes robotic knee replacement, robotic hip replacement, revision joint replacement, complex trauma surgery, and pelvic and acetabular fracture management.
Dr. Thomas has successfully performed more than 20,000 primary joint replacement surgeries and over 2,000 complex revision joint replacement procedures.
