He left this institute to join Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi as chairman of the department of neurosurgery in 2010. From where he moved to Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket as senior director of neurosurgery and spine surgery in 2012.
Dr. Jain has also worked as special associate professor at department of neurosurgery in Fujita Health University, Nagoya Japan for a period of one year during 1985-1986.
He has also been visiting professor at various neurosurgery departments in universities abroad.
He has been an examiner for National Board of Examinations (DNB) and for award masters degree of Neurosurgery in many universities.
He himself has trained around 100 neurosurgeons.
Dr. Jain has presented several papers in National and international scientific conferences and he is regularly invited to deliver lectures in various CME (Continuing Medical Education programs) & updates by various scientific organizations in India and abroad.
He has been in editorial board of prestigious journals eg. Spine, Neurology India and Journal of postgraduate Medicine and the Indian Journal of Neurotrauma.
