He is directly involved in teaching and training young doctors different formats of Echocardiography.
He has also arranged workshops and seminars where he innovatively exploited various tools of Echocardiography to teach about the complex cardiac problems. In a span of nearly 7 years, from 2004-2011, he organised several seminars and workshops on Echocardiography in case of ‘Acquired Heart Disease’, ‘Congenital Heart Disease’, ‘Critical Care’, and on ‘New Dimension in Echocardiography’.
He is a member of Indian Academy of Echocardiography, and Cardiology Society of India (Indore Branch).
He is also associated with research and has published several papers on Complex Congenital Cardiac Diseases.
After graduating with MBBS from MGM Medical College, Indore in 1982, he pursued MD in the same institute in 1985. Thereafter, he did a Fellowship on Advanced Echocardiography from Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi in 1999.
