Dr. Parvathi U Iyer is a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon with over 37 years of experience in the field.
Her expertise includes Pediatric & Congenital Heart Surgery, Ablations, Angiography, and ASD/VSD closure.
She graduated from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and completed her MD in Pediatrics from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandigarh.
She further trained at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Dr. Iyer is a pioneer in Pediatric cardiac critical care in India, having initiated the first integrated pediatric cardiac program in 1995 and established the first dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU in Northern India.
She is a member of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India, the Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society, and the Indian Association of Pediatrics, where she has been a lifetime member.
Dr. Iyer has authored over 100 publications in national and international journals and is frequently invited as a chairperson at conferences and seminars.
