Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia

Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia is a dedicated interventional cardiologist with more than 3+ years of experience.
He is one of the highly experienced doctors in India having performed the maximum TAVR (more than 250) and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC, more than 50)
He has a keen interest in Coronary physiology and anatomy. His extensive experience includes advanced catheter-based treatment of hypertension (Renal artery Denervation) and more than 100 endomyocardial biopsies in post heart transplant patients.
He has given several presentations at International meetings that include PCI optimizations workshop, Hungary 2015, PCI optimization workshop, Hungary 2016, JIM, Milan, Italy 2015, EURO PCR, Paris, 2016, LONDON Valve, 2016 and EUROPCR, PARIS, 2017.
He has conducted TAVR workshops in several cities across the globe including Hungary, Bangkok, Vietnam, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi.
He is involved in training other doctors in these procedures across the globe and in India as well. He is also regularly invited as faculty with respect to these procedures both nationally and internationally.
He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers and presented them at conferences in India and abroad.
He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry, MD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, DM from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum and several Fellowships from Interventional Cardiology, Hungarian Institute Of Cardiology, Budapest, Hungary, European Society of Cardiology, Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology and Complex Coronary and Structural Heart Disease – Europe.
